This past summer I had the opportunity to attend the wedding of two superbly talented and inspiring people and friends, Ari & Paul. Though I don't typically photograph weddings, I took my camera and let my intuition guide the shutter. Rather than poses and shot lists, my intention was to capture my favorite moments from the event. The images below are just a sampling of shots that reflect the excitement and energy of the happy occasion. Cheers to new beginnings for Ari and Paul and for all of us on this day, a brand new year. Hear, hear!
Dad's new toy...
How many years have we pined after classic watercraft, such as the Chris-Craft boats we saw cruising around Crooked Lake every summer? Too many. To rectify the situation, my father recently decided to invest in a floating homage to days gone by--a 1957 Custom Sportsman made by Chris-Craft. It is 17 feet of old Hollywood glamour by way of custom mahogany woodworking, and I can attest that it doesn't relent on style or grace on the water. Cheers to the new and requisite addition to his water transport collection!
